Who do you say the I AM is? Matt 16:13-20
“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Matt 16:15-16. What a revelation to discover who God is through seeing it in His Word and experiencing I AM!
Who do you say I AM?
I say He is The Choosing One– Who am I that you would choose me! “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.” John 15:16
I say He is The Perfect Rescuer– I remember wanting to commit suicide and He came to me and delivered me and led me to salvation! “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13 #SavedFromDeath
I say He Is The Forgiver– ALL my sins forgiven in His beautiful name! “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
I say He is The Perfect Joy Despensor- The day I was saved… again I skipped around the parking lot with such joy! “This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 #PerfectJoy
I say He is The Perfect Shepard– Who else can completely satisfy? I’ve searched all over and I’ve only found everything I needed in God. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1
I say He is Light that delivers and heals– He exposed the dark with in me and immediately brings deliverance and healing in my life! He doesn’t just show me my short comings, He heals my heart and He empowers me to overcome them. “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.” Isaiah 58:8
I say He is the One that doesn’t leave me– No matter what I did! Jesus walked with me! No matter the season He was there with me. I may not have always been IN him but He was always in me. The quickest way is to get In the Spirit is to say, “Lord Jesus” 1 Corinthians 12:3. “Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.“. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” 1 Corinthians 12:3
I say He is for me– He was for me, when I wasn’t for myself. He is for me when people lie on me, when they cheat me, when they try to stumble me! “And If God is for you THEN WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU?!” Romans 8:31
I say He is The Overcomer In me– In My Christian Life I couldn’t believe that I was getting entangled in sin. I couldn’t believe that as a Christian I was living a defeated life with the undefeated one. Jesus is a gentleman, He waits to be invited into you (Revelations 3:20) He is waiting for you to surrender your life so HE can be the overcoming One in YOU! What’s defeating you? If you have Christ in you, YOU ARE NO LONGER SUPPOSE to live a defeated life. We should be enjoying Jesus as our Life and this Life should be spontaneously causing us to be Living Overcomers. You have the opportunity to choose to be a Living Overcomer! Ask God to make you a living Overcomer and cooperate with him in what he tells you! I never would have made it without this overcoming one in me. Surrender it all! Surrender your life and your love for this World! And watch how free YOU will be! “Because who the Son sets free is free indeed” John 8:36 “Do not fear because I have overcome the World” John 16:33 “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the World” 1 John 4:4.
I say He is the One who likes my praise– His presence is so thick when I praise Him. Its like He is all around me! “Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3
WHO DO YOU SAY HE IS?!
