I often wonder why the Lord leads me to such fascinating places that I (& many others) call paradise. Financially – I’m shocked I get to visit such places. But I learned early on in my faith in Christ Jesus, that I must move by faith if I want to live the life of my wildest dreams.

Another friendship ended this year (I’m okay btw no hard feelings) but before our friendship ended, she ranted and said “You have religion, I have a relationship with Jesus!” Quite interesting bc this particular person, I tried not to mention God as much bc I never knew her stance with Him but if anyone follows me on social media long enough, they soon find out that Jesus is my Lord & Savior and God is my Father!

I knew I didn’t have a religion but a relationship with Jesus so I didn’t entertain her outburst. This relationship with Christ has allowed me to settle in this paradise that I wouldn’t even have had the opportunity to dream of. I sit and think of how my African enslaved ancestors were robbed of the opportunity to explore and wander due to hate & greed and all kinds of evil. I sit and think, that if slavery ended a 100 years later, would I have these opportunities I have today?

What a privilege I have! What a privilege my country has given me through its passport. I’m grateful that my ancestors endured. Sometimes I fight back tears with thoughts of them because they suffered through such ugly treatment while I sit across blue waters and discover new beach clubs here in Egypt.

I often think, “God, why me?” Quite opposite of when I had my own sufferings in the states and also thought “God, why ME?!”

I may never know ‘why me’ but I do know this – I am so thankful for the life God has gifted me. How would I have known that following God’s leading would guide me to a paradise like this?!🥹

By now, you may have heard me say that, I haven’t experienced a paradise that compares to God’s presence and goodness. And maybe that’s why I get to experience Earthly paradise, to tell you 🗣️IT DOESN’T COMPARE to the presence of Our Creator.🖤
