When was your last revelation concerning Christ?

Today I worked both of my jobs in Downtown Dallas, Texas, USA. Thankfully I had about a 3 hour and 30 minute break. I’ve been exhausted from my shifts and to add to everything I’m moving!

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27.

I’ve heard scriptures about the peace from God but I’m not sure if I’ve acknowledged that this is something I’ve received from God or even thanked Him for for giving me peace. Right now I am going through a pretty hard season in the physical realm but spiritually I feel as if I’m walking on water!

What does any of this have to do with a bicycle, Sherry?! Well I’m glad you guided me back to that lol. Yesterday as I was riding a bicycle in Downtown Dallas, Texas, USA, I had so much peace as I let the breeze caress my face. I felt like a kid with endless positive possibilities. I began to reminisce on my first time riding a bicycle and how I taught myself. I started with just one training wheel (borrowing a neighbors bike) and then as I kept riding (almost all day) the other training wheel fell off and I was on my own. I was riding the bicycle with no training wheels! And I thought about my life with Christ, no one taught me about how a relationship with Christ should look like. I just loved Him and He loved me back. I just knew that I wanted a relationship full of love and here was a person willing to give it to me.

My relationship with Christ started much like my experience with riding that bicycle for the first time, I just hopped on the bike and tried something and it seemed to be working. Now I’m sure everyone’s first bicycle experience didn’t happened like mine but what I do know is that you at least just tried it out and eventually got the hang of it. Now it had been a while since I rode a bike and yesterday riding the bicycle was a skill I did not lose, the saying is true, “Its like riding a bike.” That saying refers to something that is second nature and is something so easy it’s hard to forget.

My relationship with Christ is just like riding a bike it was so natural (second nature) for me to treat Him like a person because that’s how He was introduced to me. I’ve never thought of Him as this far away God because He never felt far away. Jesus is truly my best friend and I talk about anything with Him. Having a relationship with Christ is so easy. I found out quickly that being obedient to God is easy as well, when you enjoy someone’s presence it’s kind of hard to offend them because you don’t want to hurt them. I enjoy God and He blesses me with His presence and as I am enjoying Him spontaneously things that I struggle with are no longer a concern and making the right choices become so easy because I’m doing life with Christ.

Is your relationship something that’s so second nature or do you feel the need to have to conjure up something to be able to talk with Him, pray, sing/dance with Him?! I want to challenge you to treat the Lord like the person He is and I’m telling you that YOU won’t be disappointed. He is truly the best person on Earth- Just taste and see!

This revelation of how easy life with Christ is came while I was riding a bicycle. Christ is immeasurable hence you will never have enough revealations of who He is. Almost everyday I have a revelation of Christ. When I am expecting to see Him in some form or fashion I receive revelations from somethings someone says or does, something I see or do, or some man made thing in this World. The Lord is all over the place and He is waiting to reveal Himself to you. My prayer is that your spiritual eyes would be open so you could see how wonderful and magnificent our God is!

If you have never made the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and want to, feel free to ask your local pastor or believer. Or you can PM me on social media. Or you can pray right now. Lord Jesus I believe you love me with an everlasting love. I believe you came into the World to die for my sins and forgive my sins. Please come live in me and  dine with me. I choose you to be my Lord and Savior! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

The Bible says, “anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13. Please share with a believer if this is your first time to pray that prayer! And please feel free to let me know by leaving a comment!
